Maundy Thursday and Good Friday on April 2 and 3, 2015 are declared regular holidays based on Republic Act 9492. Some companies opted to suspend afternoon working schedule (usually 1pm onwards) on April 1, Holy Wednesday, to give ample time (in avoiding the rush hour of the Holy Week break) to their employees who will take a trip to their home provinces.

April 4, 2015, Saturday – Black Saturday (Special non-working day)
April 9, 2015, Thursday – Araw ng Kagitingan (Regular holiday)
April 9 is another regular holiday this month. In this regard, employees who are assigned to work on this day will be given premium pay in accordance with their company’s existing policies.
